Summer Solstice Trail Maintenance Day, on Saturday, June 22

Start with a complimentary continental breakfast, in the T-Bar Pub, at 9 AM. From there we’ll break into teams tackling village trail maintenance and Haig Lake trail maintenance. As well as your usual hiking gear, snacks and water, we will need a few people to bring hammers and small handsaws. There will be after hiking drinks at the Pub which will be a great time to catch up with all of our ski buddies that we haven’t seen for two months.

The full schedule for the day is as follows:

• 9:00 am Meet at the T-bar  pub for coffee and breakfast
• 9:30 am Head out in groups for trail maintenance around the village and up along the Haig Lake trails
• 4:30 pm Meet back at the T-bar for drinks and a CMCA hosted BBQ

Huckleberry Festival Weekend is our biggest summer event.  It brings our community, locals, families, and friends together for a celebration of summer!  We’ll have live music, vendors, games, hiking, berry picking, activities for young and old, BBQ’s, a down home community supper and more.   We operate the Huckleberry Chairlift on both Saturday and Sunday for scenic tours, as well as to give easy access to the Huckleberries.
